Encourage Swimming and Water confidence in both children and adults.

Encourage the training of young adults, club swimmers and poolside helpers for future Swimming Teachers and Coaches.

Further develop the existing teaching staff competence with Continuous Personal Development (CPD)

Ensure the club operates within its budget.

Adhere to and develop the club’s ethic of swimming for all.

Develop a Teaching Plan which incorporates National Plan for Teaching Swimming, Personal Survival, Rookie Lifeguard, Water Polo, synchro, diving and currently used ASA Certificates for speed and skills.

Support the Swimmers with individual records. Each swimmers record will include National Plan for Teaching Swimming, skills/speeds certificates, Personal Survival awards, diving awards, and a wide range of suitable awards to challenge and interest the swimmers.

Encourage very competent swimmers to develop still further with other swimming clubs within the area (Elite squads) and develop a Masters Swimmers section (adults age 18+).

Develop the Teaching plan to ensure we continue to meet the requirements for the Swim 21 accreditation as a Teaching Club and aspire to higher levels.

Maximise the resources available to the club via the ASA, Local government, Local Businesses, Friends and Families for fundraising to further the aims and objectives of the Club for the benefit of the Community as a whole.

Ensure that the Club operates as a whole to protect the interests of young people as developing citizens, individuals and sports participants.
